ALCM follows international ethical standards (COPE, ICMJE, and the Helsinki Declaration). Authors must obtain and declare institutional ethical approval, include informed consent where human data are used, and ensure originality and accuracy of all data. Editors and reviewers must declare conflicts of interest, maintain confidentiality and impartiality, and recuse themselves in case of bias or conflict. Ethical issues are investigated transparently, and retractions or corrections issued when warranted.
